Our Mission

To make wholesome living practical, affordable, and community-powered—so anyone can choose real food, hydrate daily, move their body, rest deeply, and feel proud of small wins.

Our Vision

A world where everyday people reclaim their health through simple routines, transparent education, and community accountability—and where kids grow up learning to spot “Processed Poop” and choose better.

Why this matters (now):

Because ultra-processed food and lifestyle burnout are normal—and that shouldn’t be normal.

We teach healthy living through four simple pillars (and a few unforgettable characters):

The Wholesometarian™ Way: 4 Pillars

Hydration Hippo - Our Hydration Pillar Mascot “Hello H₂O”

Nutty the Nutritional Nut - Food Knowledge Pillar Mascot “Know What’s Best”

Active Ant - Our Movement and Exercise Pillar Mascot “Let’s Go”

Water first. Every day. Hello H₂O becomes a habit, not a task.

Active Ant - Our Movement and Exercise Pillar Mascot “Let’s Go”

Nutty the Nutritional Nut - Food Knowledge Pillar Mascot “Know What’s Best”

Active Ant - Our Movement and Exercise Pillar Mascot “Let’s Go”

Movement counts—walks, stretching, dancing, chores, play. It all matters.

Nutty the Nutritional Nut - Food Knowledge Pillar Mascot “Know What’s Best”

Nutty the Nutritional Nut - Food Knowledge Pillar Mascot “Know What’s Best”

Nutty the Nutritional Nut - Food Knowledge Pillar Mascot “Know What’s Best”

Real food, label literacy, and choosing what your body recognizes. Count chemicals, not calories.

Sleepy Sloth - Rest and Relaxation Pillar Mascot - "I Wanna Rest"

Sleepy Sloth - Rest and Relaxation Pillar Mascot - "I Wanna Rest"

Nutty the Nutritional Nut - Food Knowledge Pillar Mascot “Know What’s Best”

Sleep is not a reward—it’s a pillar. We protect it.

The Villain: Processed Poop

Sleepy Sloth - Rest and Relaxation Pillar Mascot - "I Wanna Rest"

The Story Behind Wholesometarian™

A sneaky antagonist hiding in “food-like” products—even plants. We find it, expose it, and choose better.

The Story Behind Wholesometarian™

Sleepy Sloth - Rest and Relaxation Pillar Mascot - "I Wanna Rest"

The Story Behind Wholesometarian™

I didn’t start Wholesometarian™ to be perfect—I started it to get healthy in public, to lead with honesty, and to create a support model I wish existed for my family and community.

My goal was to create something human, not corporate, a place where we learn openly, improve slowly, and refuse shame.

We now run support groups, publish simple weekly blogs, and help people hydrate, exercise, eat, sleep, and repeat—with zero judgment and a lot of joy.

Wholesometarian™ Mini Missions

We’re building a big vision through small, everyday actions—our Wholesometarian™ Mini Missions:

  • Count Chemicals, Not Calories
→ Learn to read ingredient labels and cut the fake food.

  • Hydrate First, Not Last
→ Start your day with water. Build the Hello H₂O habit.

  • Move a Little, Move a Lot
→ Any movement counts—walk, stretch, dance, clean, play.

  • Prioritize Sleep Like It’s a Pillar
→ Sleep is essential, not optional. Protect it like a boundary.

  • Shop Real, Not Just Organic
→ Understand what’s truly real food (even if it’s not labeled “organic”).

  • Simplify Kids’ Learning
→ Teach kids to spot Processed Poop and choose whole options through stories and games.

  • Fast for Healing, Not Perfection
→ Promote gentle fasting and gut restoration with grace.

  • Support, Don’t Shame
→ Build community health through accountability, encouragement, and understanding.

Diannah- Founding Soul Sister & Wellness Support Guide

Diannah isn't just a vital part of Wholesometarian—she's LeeAnn's best friend, her sounding board, and one of the deepest influences on how this mission came to life.  At her core, Diannah is a seeker of truth whose path was shaped by necessity, purpose, and a determination to find answers when conventional wisdom fell short.

A personal health challenge early in her life became a pivotal turning point—not just to heal, but to understand. When medical professionals couldn't provide solutions, she took matters into her own hands, discovering that dietary changes created profound improvements. This experience sparked a lifelong journey into natural wellness, holistic healing, and the powerful relationship between food, emotions, and overall well-being.  Her kitchen became her lab, her books her teachers, and her results spoke for themselves.

Diannah's passion for psychology, human behavior, and deep research has made her the kind of person who's always asking the right questions—and finding thoughtful, real-world answers. Her dedication has not only transformed her own health but has rippled outward, helping others struggling with similar concerns through her knowledge of nutrition and healing.

Whether she's behind the camera capturing the heart of a moment or helping translate big ideas into simple, beautiful truths—Diannah is both the soul and strategy behind so much of what we do. Her contributions are quiet but powerful, guiding our content, grounding our conversations, and helping keep Wholesometarian aligned with love, learning, and purpose. She's the kind of best friend who reminds you who you are… and then helps you build something that brings it to life.

Meet Jenny Our Amazing Social Media Manager/Content Creator

Hi there, My name is Jenny. I am the content creator and social media manager of Wholesometarian in Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube.

I am really happy to be part of this community and learn every day the importance of wholesome or natural foods. I live in the village and to be honest I always underestimated the village life, I always wanted to live in the city centre.

While I did my studies abroad I understood and taught that is not the place that makes you feel good but the environment that surrounds you. I understood that in today's lifestyle it becomes a luxury eating natural foods that come directly from nature (which my parents always grew in the home garden).

Now, working, studying and learning more of wholesome foods I feel really grateful about the foods I ate and actually eat in my home. I know it is hard for someone who lives in the busy city centers to find bio, natural foods but I think we should all make an effort and understand the true value of NATURE and FOODS that come from NATURE.

This way we become the bosses of ourselves and learn to respect our body and ourselves before anything else.

Please come by daily to check out new fresh posts and healthy tips on our platforms below, all posted and managed by Jenny.

Meet, Mel - our Registered Holistic Nutritionist

Hi, My name is Mel Staley, I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. I found myself on this journey a few years back. My health wasn’t great, I was overweight and unhappy and decided I needed to make some changes. I lost 41 pounds and became an aquafit instructor and was loving life. I got pregnant with my son shortly after and when I was pregnant I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes.

During this time I saw a hospital dietician who told me that it was okay to drink diet soda. Something about this information didn’t sit quite right with me and I followed my gut, that led me to do some research. Why was such advice being given when sweeteners such as aspartame are a known carcinogen and actually spike blood sugar causing all sorts of dis-ease within the body?

I also did an amazing course called the riseup resilient protocol with a Naturopathic Doctor in my city. This course really helped me get my own health back on track and bring a more holistic approach to my life.

During my research phase I stumbled upon Food Babe, I’m sure most have heard of her. Her book Feeding You Lies inspired me to dig deeper.

I have a Diploma in Recreation, and Early Childhood Education but holistic health became my passion so I decided to go back to school and I went to the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, so I could help others reach their health goals.

I know first hand how hard it can be to reach your goals while living in a toxic world that is trying to poison our bodies, hearts, and minds.

I hope I can be a part of your journey and customize an individualized plan to help you reach all your health goals!
