Frequently Asked Questions

Wholesometarian™ is a lifestyle rooted in four pillars: Nutrition, Hydration, Movement, and Rest.
It’s about reconnecting with your body and your joy — not following rigid rules. Everyone is welcome here.

Let's Explore Wholesometarian

We help people live real again. Wholesometarian™ is a joyful lifestyle rooted in 4 wellness pillars:

Nourishing Food,  Proper Hydration,  Daily Movement, and  Restful Sleep.

We provide fun tools, smart resources, uplifting support, and real products to help you reconnect with your body, break up with “fake food,” and feel good again — without shame, pressure, or perfection.

We explore how wellness can be easy, natural, and FREE-like stepping outside for

sunshine, walking barefoot, drinking clean water, and choosing real food over

"FAKE" food.

We share SIMPLE LIFE HACKS to help families thrive with small, sustainable

changes. From Wellness tips to product recommendations, everything we promote

aligns with our Four Wholesometarian pillars.

Meet the 4 Pillars

Nutty represents the Knowledge and Nutrition pillar.
He’s your label-reading sidekick and food detective — helping you ask, “What’s really in this?”
Whether you're curious about ingredient swaps, decoding additives, or just trying to eat a little cleaner, Nutty says: “Know what’s best.”

Start small. Think real over processed. Add one wholesome item this week — like fresh veggies, good fats, or something without a barcode. Nutty will be proud.

Hydration Hippo represents our Hydration pillar.
She’s all about soaking it up — inside and out. Proper hydration can support energy, digestion, skin health, and even mental clarity. Her motto? “Hello H₂O.”

Yes — but don’t overthink it. Sip throughout the day. Start your morning with water before anything else. Add electrolytes, salt or lemon if it helps. Hydration Hippo says: “Hello H2O!”

Active Ant is the champion of our Movement pillar.
He believes any movement is better than none. From stretching while brushing your teeth to full-on workouts, his motto is: “Let’s Go!”

Absolutely. Movement isn’t just about fitness — it’s about circulation, energy, and vitality. Your body craves variety and motion. Active Ant cheers for every step

Because he knows Rest is essential. He represents our Sleep & Recovery pillar.
Sloth reminds us that slowing down, disconnecting, and prioritizing quality sleep isn’t lazy — it’s wise. His cozy motto: “I wanna rest.”

Sleep isn’t just about hours — it’s about quality. Sleepy Sloth encourages screen-free wind-downs, consistent rhythms, and magnesium or natural support when needed. Sometimes rest also means emotional rest — permission to stop doing it all.

Let’s Get Personal

Absolutely.
You’re already living parts of this lifestyle — maybe you drink water but struggle with food, or you love your morning walk but crash at night.
Wholesometarian™ is not about perfection. It’s about noticing what you want to improve, celebrating what you already do, and adding joy to the journey.

Nope. Most of us are a little Nutty, a bit Sleepy, slightly dehydrated, and tired of faking it.
You might excel at one, struggle with three, or switch pillars depending on the season.
That’s why we’re here — to offer tools, support, and laughs along the way..

You didn’t fall — you’re just human.
Our motto: Come as you are. Begin where you are. Even one better choice today is a win. Wholesometarian™ isn’t a diet. It’s a rebellion against guilt and disconnection.

Not at all.
Our message is simple enough for kids, supportive for teens, and relevant at every age. We use playful characters like Nutty the Nutritional Nut and Sleepy Sloth to make healthy habits fun — but the pillars are for everyone.

From little ones learning what “real food” means to elders focusing on sleep or hydration, Wholesometarian™ welcomes all ages and stages..

Because you're ready to feel good — and done with all-or-nothing diets, guilt trips, and fake food tricks.

Becoming a Wholesometarian™ doesn’t mean becoming perfect. It means:

  • Choosing real food when you can
  • Drinking water like it matters
  • Moving in ways that feel good
  • And giving yourself permission to rest

We believe small, consistent choices add up. And we believe you deserve to feel supported while doing it.

Real food is anything your body recognizes and thrives on — like fruits, vegetables, quality proteins, healthy fats, and foods that come from nature with as little tampering as possible. If your great-grandma would’ve recognized it, Nutty approves.

Food is defined as a substance that essentially consists of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins, and other essential components that are used by your body to produce energy, sustain growth, heal the body, and performs other vital body processes. FOOD is not to be confused with Edible Food-like Substances, we often refer to as “FAKE FOOD". Find out more on our WHAT IS FOOD page.

:

  • Fruits, Vegetables, and Legumes: Rich in nutrients, antioxidants, and fiber, supporting overall health and digestion.
  • Meat, Seafood, Eggs, and Dairy: Provide essential proteins, vitamins, and minerals necessary for body functions.
  • Seeds, Nuts, and Grains: Offer healthy fats, proteins, and fibers that contribute to heart health and energy.
  • Healthy Oils: Such as extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil, aiding in nutrient absorption and cell growth.
  • Herbs, Spices, and Teas: Packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, enhancing flavor and health benefits.
  • Natural Sweeteners: Alternatives like honey and maple syrup provide sweetness with added nutrients.

Yes — but it’s not about strict rules. We encourage reducing:

  • Highly processed or packaged foods
  • Refined sugars and artificial sweeteners
  • Inflammatory seed oils
  • Meats with long, chemical ingredient lists

Instead, we focus on what we can enjoy — whole, nourishing, joyful foods that fuel us well.

A good clue is the label length and the ingredient list. If it’s got a paragraph of chemicals, Nutty calls it “processed poop.” If it’s one or two ingredients and comes from the earth, we call that real.

Yes. Wholesometarian™ isn’t a diet — it’s a lens. You can apply the pillars to almost any food philosophy by asking:

Is this real? Will it nourish me? Does it align with how I want to feel?

It’s where the magic happens.

Our support group is a safe space — online and in real life — where we:

  • Share honest struggles and small wins
  • Learn from each other
  • Explore the 4 pillars together
  • Celebrate progress over perfection

Whether you're crushing one pillar or just starting, you belong here. It’s not a competition — it’s a community.

  • Fruits, Vegetables and Legumes
  • Meats, Eggs and Seafood
  • Seeds, Nuts and Grains
  • Healthy Oils (Coconut, Olive, Avocado)

  • Natural Sweeteners ( Honey, Maple Syrup)
  • Mushrooms

Wholesometarians are like-minded individuals who recognize that the quality of what they consume directly impacts their body's performance. When we opt for foods lacking in nutritional value, we essentially burden our bodies with extra effort for minimal nourishment. Conversely, choosing foods abundant in nutrients equips our bodies with the optimal fuel, thereby bolstering our defense against numerous diet-related ailments.

The key to a successful life lies in adopting the right approach. Being a wholesometarian entails making mindful decisions to consume the most nourishing fuel available within our unique environments.

We acknowledge that life isn't flawless; our circumstances and surroundings differ greatly. Urban living varies significantly from rural lifestyles, and not everyone has identical resources. While convenience for one person might be absent or inaccessible for another, we all possess the capacity to make conscientious choices to the best of our abilities.

Thriving as a wholesometarian hinges upon grasping the concept of making the finest possible choice within our respective settings. By cultivating awareness, we can employ our knowledge to lead us in selecting minimally processed products and opting for fresh, whole foods whenever feasible.

A gentle reminder:
Everything we share is rooted in love and learning , it is not medical advice. Wholesometarian™ is here to support you with education, encouragement, and joy, but always check with your trusted healthcare provider when making lifestyle changes. You know your body best.
